Update on HJR68: Transportation Sales Tax

HJR 68, first Missouri transportation funding plan in history to integrate active transportation, passed both the house and the senate and will be voted on by Missourians later this year.

Public Input Wanted for Proposed Bus Shelter Designs

In addition to the new bus routes for Columbia Transit, 7 proposed bus shelters were designed and are being voted on. More information on the proposed shelters and a survey to gain public input are online.

MKT-Parkade Bike Boulevard at Council

A public hearing for the MKT-Parkade Bike Blvd is set for 7:00pm June 2, 2014, at City Hall. We encourage you to attend the Council meeting and speak in favor of the project, or if you cannot attend, contact your council member via email.

Wine and Beer Ride Recap

Thank you to everyone who attended our Wine & Beer Ride on May 15th as part of Bike, Walk and Wheel Week. We had 60 participants join us on our social ride around The District. We look forward to having another similar event soon!

Bike To School Day – West Middle – May 16th

Join the Columbia community in celebrating Bike Walk and Wheel Week by participating in West Middle School’s Bike to School Day on Friday, May 16th. Upon arriving at the school in the morning, we will have a table set up with refreshments and prizes for those who rode their bikes.

Breakfast Station at Wabash Bus Station – May 16th 7-9am

We’re partnering with CoMET (Columbians for Modern, Efficient, Transit), and Columbia Transit to host the 2nd Annual Breakfast Station at the Wabash Bus Station during Bike, Walk and Wheel Week on May 16th from 7-9am. Stop by for refreshments and prizes!
