City Council Passes CoMo Connect Unanimously

Drew Books Speaking at City Council

After much planning from Columbia Transit staff, City Council voted unanimously, at their February 17th meeting, in favor of CoMo Connect, the complete overhaul of Columbia Transit. CoMo Connect is expected to roll out on August 4, 2014 with more routes and connections, shorter wait times, and longer hours of operation. The new system will include 2 main connector routes running north-south and east-west and 8 neighborhood routes with 42 connections all over the city. We’re excited to see these changes and upgrades as they begin preparing for the new system. The countdown to August 4th has begun!

We encourage supporters to email their City Council representative and thank them for voting in favor of CoMo Connect.

Last but not least we want to send a special thank you to everyone who has supported our CoMET: Columbians for Modern Efficient Transit Campaign in support of transit improvements over the last 3 years!
