Commuting is a one session three hour course geared toward the adult cyclist who wants to learn more about commuting to work or school by bike.
It covers:
- route selection
- bicycle choice
- dealing with cargo and clothing
- bike parking, lighting, and reflection
- foul weather riding
Completion of Confident City Cycling is a prerequisite for this course.
The class is taught by a League of American Bicyclists certified instructor and includes handouts and student materials. Cost is $15 (financial assistance available) and all classes are held at Stephens Lake Park Activity Center, 2311 East Walnut St. Check out the calendar for a full listing of classes.
