Sidewalk assessment project

The City of Columbia is looking for up to 50 volunteers who can help the morning of Saturday, November 15 with a new opportunity - a sidewalk assessment of an area just east of downtown Columbia. Information collected by volunteers will be used to improve sidewalks.
Volunteers will attend a one-hour training and then be sent with a partner to assess sidewalk in at least one block of the study area. Bring a friend, a family member or a group, or we will assign someone for you to work with. Read the position description for more details.
