Two Part-Time Positions With the PedNet Coalition

The PedNet Coalition is inviting applications for two part-time positions to help develop and deliver programs that encourage Columbians to increase walking and bicycling, as part of the City of Columbia's "GetAbout Columbia" Project and other projects. Assistant Walking School Bus Coordinator:

  • Applicant should have exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm to promote walking and cycling to school as a healthy alternative mode of transportation is required.
  • Will be assisting with the Walking School Bus Program and the "GetAbout Columbia" Project programs and events.

Program Assistant:

  • Successful applicant will lead walking and biking encouragement programs as well as assist with general office duties.
  • Part-time temporary position, 15 - 20 hours/week, March 1 - June 13.
  • Enthusiasm to promote walking and cycling as a healthy alternative mode of transportation is required as well as competent cycling skills.
