PAINTING THE PROVIDENCE BRIDGE

March 2007

Several PedNet members have commented on the obscenities spray-painted on bridge supports beside the Hinkson Trail where it passes under Providence Road.

To remove this offensive feature which undoubtedly puts people off using the trail, PedNet's Volunteer Coordinator, Robert Johnson, along with volunteers Jim Linville and Corri Flaker solved the problem one recent Saturday morning with a pot of gray paint.

A good morning's work for people dedicated to encouraging more active travel in Columbia.
