Saturday, May 6, 1:30 p.m. At Flat Branch Park (downtown Columbia): Kick-Off Event and MKT Trail Walk/Bike Ride ... Honorary chair Senator Chuck Graham and Mayor Darwin Hindman will officially open the event (speeches at 2:30 p.m.). Register for Bike, Walk, and Wheel Week and pick up your free T-shirt. Take part in a group walk or bike ride on the MKT Trail at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 7, 1:00 p.m. At The Columbia/Boone County Health Dept. (West and Worley): Cycle-Recycle ... Donate a second-hand bike by emailing pednet@pednet.org. Live radio broadcasts from the Colosseum Bistro, downtown (David Lile on KFRU) and the ARC (Chris Kellogg on KPLA), where the breakfast stations will be open at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, May 13, 2:00 p.m. At Twin Lakes Shelter (Chapel Hill Road): Final Event Rally ...
